Is it possible to trade regular Smithing Stones?

Just wondering if it's possible. I'm short a few and the only way to get them is to progress in an area of the campaign that I don't want to get to yet.

Sadly you would have to go fight a boss for level 1 and level 2 stones, It's a rather easy boss due to how weak they are but it's in a deeper area.

What kind of smithing stones are you looking for? If you mean 3 or 4, They are a little harder to find so far for me, Due to the fact I like changing up weapons.
