Killing him provides access to a pretty stylish heavy set, for which there are not that many to choose from in the early/mid-game. What is not to like?
1. Godrick the Grafted
2. Malenia, Blade of Miquella (I loved every bit of that tough as nail fight)
3. Radahn (very cool mechanic and lorewise my favourite)
4. Morgott (Hes just badass)
5. Rykard (I love the Stormruler fights, i feel like a literal GOD)
6. Mohg (Its not that i hate him, i just like him the least)
He's also so big and the camera tends to shove itself up his butt so even meleeing him can be a hassle since you can't quite tell how far he is from you and can whiff attacks. not to mention melee puts you in "no escape" range of some of his gargantuan AOEs.
Beat him after a few tries, didn't enjoy him in the slightest, I have no intention of ever fighting him again, especially since his Great Rune is just a direct downgrade from Godrick's in every conceivable way except a build that, for some unfathomable reason, has 60 Vigor, 60 Mind, and 60 Endurance.
