Has anyone reached this boss already ? What do you think ?

I haven't seen stupider boss in my whole Souls games career, you can't do anything, you either have to be lucky or do it within 2-3 hits which is pretty stupid. I have been trying this boss for like 20-30 minutes already and I have a feeling that he has new attacks every single time, he is exceeding his combos every attempt lol.

Would you like some help?

Took me a couple of hourse, tough but fair boss. Keep to his right and dont go to far away, this will encourage him to use his shield attack wich is easy to dodge and easy to punish, His boss weapon is garbage sadly.
I put my sign down. Pass 1413

This boss is not hard, it's just stupidly made because I can easily dodge his close to long range combos, but when I finally think it's over, he repeats the same combo instantly and I have to dodge for like 15 more seconds so I can hit him at least once.

Thank you for offering me your help, but I would like to beat this boss alone because that is how I play these games.

The keyword for big dudes with big boombooms is delayed attacks.
I knowit sounds mad but dont try to evade with the first animation.
Besides, if you struggle 30 mins with a boss and then trying to open a thread about it, it seems you need some proper focus and nerves of steel. :P
Parrying has mixed results because he'd switch to ranged attacks instead, well, when I fought him myself. The only new attack around half health is the shield aoe if I remember. Overall, the fight is pretty tame but those ranged attacks during close range will trip you up at first

Its a pretty fair boss. He has a three swing standard combo that you can roll through and punish as he recovers. For the ranged red blade stuff, I only noticed he does that when you are a certain distance. Just stay close and you won't have to worry about that. The grab I had to run away from; I don't know if you can roll behind him to avoid it. The charged red sword beam attack is easy enough. You can run behind him and get a couple quick hits in. The shield slam hits hard, but it easily avoided with a roll into his hitbox.

Just stay on his left side, roll the combos, range the grab, punish when you can. Easy.

I opened a discussion because from all of those bosses I beat in all of the Souls games, this one is just pretty unfair to me because there is no time to attack him especially if you are using greatsword.

I know already that some bosses use delayed attacks, but this guy has both lol.

I can beat him probably if I take my time, but it's pissing me off how this boss is made because it's not Midir or Gael from DS3, it's just a random big dude in tower :D

The other thing is that I am using greatsword so those "couple quick hits" are just one hit for me and even that is too much sometimes lol

I still think it's stupid boss though...

He is a ultra aggressive boss, he has some timings to attack him, tho. Here are some windows to land a strike:

After he slams his shield down use dodge frames to roll close and strike.

After he misses shoulderbash.

When he misses his grab.

After he calls his sword back trying to get you in the back (You can see him channel it when you see him hold his arm out and it glows red like he is waiting)

You can also summon ashes of war to distract him. Personally I used the shieldbearer ashes from Nokron. They have a taunt move and often block attacks making them good to distract him for you to land some hits in the back.

Parry him.

He is not just a random dude, he is a reference to Kirk from DS1 and DS3. His armor is coated in barbed wire that deals damage like Kirk does, also he can invade you in several spots when you least expect it being the exact same boss then.

And aslong as he lives there is a chance he will invade again and again, doesn't matter if you win or lose. Kill the real one to stop his invasion phantoms.
