I had no performance problems or crashing until I enabled Borderless Window mode.

Entering Borderless Window mode, depending on the area, has cost me 5-10 FPS on average, and upwards of 20 at worst. It has also caused my game to crash twice and stutter a few times. Often not long before it crashes. I played for over 90 hours in fullscreen mode with no issues. In just a few of hours of borderless window mode I noticed these issues. Going back to fullscreen seems to have resolved them.

So if you're having those issues, make sure you're in fullscreen mode. The game doesn't like being alt+tabbed out of though. But it's worth it for the FPS and stability.

No. Fullscreen is adding input lag to me. Borderless Windows is sadly best for input lag rn.

I have no input lag so I didn't mention it. Just the FPS and crashes, which is what was caused and is exclusive to leaving fullscreen for me.

So much marketing BS about DX12. They're banking on PC gamers' lack of self respect to push their latest crapware and it's working. We all opened wide for EAC too.

I have vsync forced off, so I don't get input lag in exclusive full screen. What I do get is an extra 5 FPS, as expected.

Playing Fullscreen with no issue. As far as I’m aware, windowed has always had more input lag.

I have to turn Gsync off then back on. It's bizarre. If I'm streaming the game, after about two hours deep it will start to stutter. If I don't stream, no stutters after Gysnc trick.
