How to disable NPC invasions?

These things are starting to get really annoying. I don't want to find in the round table hold there's no way to get my runes back because there's an enemy there who can't be beaten at my level when it's the one place seemingly there should not be any enemies at all. Losing over 8000 runes is ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I don't care it's "supposed" to be part of the game. Or whatever dumb lore reasons. I specifically avoided multi player - I DO NOT WANT INVASIONS. Especially when I can't get my stuff back.

You can not turn off NPC invasions.

Is this where we're at now? People complain about invaders, which is still ridiculous but it's kind of understandable if you look at it from a newbies perspective.

But now NPC invaders? Boys, boys, boys, when are we going to learn? NPC invaders are just another AI mob just like any other enemy. Is your pride that far down your gut that even a simulated invasion is hurting your ego? You died to an AI, get over it.

Damn. Well hopefully one day they'll add the option. Curse the people who thought it a good feature to add. For now I'm going to play a different game, the regular crashes to desktop that can't be fixed were bad enough. But this too? Getting a refund, if it were possible would be so tempting. A shame because the game otherwise is good so far.

the NPC invaders are just NPC's that spawn in on screen. It's no different than any other big bad enemy you may encounter while speeding across the map on your horse. they will always spawn in the same place until you kill them. some of them drop good runes, even weapons or other useful items. it's just a scripted spawn of an enemy.

people are still having trouble with that guy in the roundtable? just use jump attacks against him. he staggers to any weapon hit and is very easy to back stab. hell you get a free back stab on him when hes coming into the game.

Be asking to disable all the monsters and bosses next.

This one 'red colored' monster is just too much for them.

I killed that NPC in the round table area at level 20 on my first try. If I can do it, so can you.

So let's say you died to one of those giant crabs and you lost all your runes, would you be angry then? Would you then complain about the crabs and complain about how you can't disable them as an enemy? Or what about those fireflies? If one of those killed you, and you lost all your runes, would you complain about not being able to disable those enemies too?

NPC invasions are mandatory and you cannot disable them
