Also, a big insult in these games is no matter how often people whine and cry "Bleed is OP EZ mode!"... In most cases you are never gonna be as effective as the PvE enemies, even if you are using the weapons they had.
Enemies who can inflict turbo bleed in two hits through your bleed resistance stacking, once you get their weapon, will only give you basic generic tickle bleed *shakes fist at sawblade halberd*, or their weapon will not even cause bleed at all if you own it. *Shakes fist at DS3 sawblade machette*
This is also why you usually only see tears over a few special weapons, but nobody ever cries about a morning star and/or Spiked club even if you are power stancing.
I can't remember for sure, but I think my friend was telling me he was having his blood build up increase on the Uchi when he started pumping his Arcane stat. I could be mistaken the Uchi for another weapon though...
Personally for a bleed build, I think the Seppuku Art of War is top notch. Recently respecc'd to try something different (did a melee int build for over half the game), and put Seppuku on Uchi and Nagakiba. With the right talismans it's just blows people up. Will most likely respec again in NG+ since Bleed is pretty easy mode.
