Is Oblivion from 2006 more technologically advanced than Elden Ring?

- cooler menu music
- open world, just as good if not better
- guilds, where are the covenants?
- radiant AI
- things actually different at night, npcs sleep for example
- most importantly horse armor

HARD DISAGREE. oblivion runs like trash compared to this.

i used controller for elden ring like for any good souls game. so this is kinda a niche issue.

oblivion has no online play. complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ argument therefore.

fully uneeded for elden ring. quests arent this game fokus clearly and shouldnt be. most quests in alot of games are boring as hell aswell.

clearly worse on oblivion. why? its when the cancer that is called leveled loot started beeing used destroying any point in exploration and instead punishing you for doing it.

not really comparable but fair point. why where those removed is beyond me. i hope they return later.

youre aware there is bosses you can only find during certain timeperiods in elden ring right? rest isnt comparable.

not when it launched, it was a pretty demanding game back then. and UW didn't exist, it's just the basic thing of allowing custom resolution. Which is a 100% non existant on any japanese dev title on pc, since thye don't seem to accomodate to that environment.
