Tips for Radagon?
Radagon is one aggressive boi. Aggressive enough that I keep finding myself between a rock and a hard place:
- On the one hand, Radagon has no discernable patterns I can find to his attacks. I find myself getting getting caught left and right since he introduces random mixups to everything so often.
- On the other hand, his attacks are fast enough that I am having huge troubles with input lag eating my dodge rolls and quicksteps. I would try to get around this by being predictive with my rolls, but as said before, he's too random for that to work.

Does anyone have advice for how to balance this tightrope?

He does have patterns though. You'l see it eventually.

Around 60% HP thats when he stars getting more aggressive and teleporting and stuff.

When he throws spear at you, dodge twice. They also explode after couple of secs.
In the "2nd phase" he also likes to throws 3 consecutive lights (I guess thats what they are). So dodge 3 times. This 1st phase is usually just 1 of them at a time.

I dont remember exactly his patterns up close. I think he likes to do a 4 attak combo. And then you get a small window to attack him.

All of his slams attack are AoE. So dont really on just staying away. You gotta doge everytime.

Its just a matter of learning his patterns. Eventually you'll be him easily.

I agree with mostly everything you said. All his individual attacks are easily dealt with. I'm just having trouble with how he chains them together in ad hoc fashion.
Some specific combinations of moves are especially devilish to deal with: One that's fresh in my mind now is how Radagon follows up on his lightning teleport. Sometimes he does nothing. Most of the time, it feels like a coin-toss between a fast attack or a medium speed attack, and I'm having trouble figuring out which is which before I get hit since the particle effect obstructs my vision.

Radagon is a pretty tough opponent and nearly as tough as Malenia. His attack patterns do become apparent once you have enough time invested in the fight. No status effects seem to apply. I swapped my weapon art to the raptor strike because it makes you invincible for one attack and puts you in the air for a jumping heavy which can help stagger him. Aside from maybe casting some buffs prefight I don't have any advice besides memorising the patterns.

Mimic tear as usual makes the fight a joke so you can take that route if you wish.
Malenia is infinitely harder than Radagon. Radagon has clear openings, whereas phase 2 Milenia it's a true crapshoot just waiting for the very specific punishable attacks, while trying to avoid various very rapid instant-kill moves. Radagon is more "I hit everything from here to Tokyo", but the attacks are slower and more predictable.
I'm sorry you feel that way. The hardest thing about Malenia is two handing your shield in time. Otherwise it's only harder than Radagon because of the lifesteal.

Update: Almost got Elden Beast with a combination of Jar Cannon + the anti-holy damage incantation but ran out of resources at the very end.

Radagon is still a casino nightmare but it's greatly mitigated by Mimic Tear.

Nice. Yeah the Elden Beast annoyed me too first playthrough. It's one tanky boi.

I figured out that all of Elden Beast's scary attacks are only used when you engage it in melee (bless the Mimic Tear for trying).

I think its grab attack might be bugged though? It has one grab move that sticks you in place and then impales you with a hundred spears of light, but then deals a spectacular zero damage.

Elden Beast isn't that hard until he combos you with the arrow rain, Elden Star incantation, and blade slashes all at once. I'm honestly not sure how to deal with the Elden Star mechanic aside from spam rolling. Can you mount in there?

I didn't even know it had a grab attack with its tiny arms.

No you can't mount. And yeah, I just spammed rolls too.

You can't mount sadly, I feel like that fight could have really used it.

I didn't use any shields in either fight, so that might warp my perspective of it then.

I used a shield to block Water Fowl attacks on Malenia, I didn't use a shield on Radagon.

Update 2: Elden Beast shot down with Jar Cannon.

tbh I think Elden Beast is pretty fun, so long as you're not fighting the camera at the same time trying to engage in melee. It has well-telegraphed attacks that all have clear methods for evading them.

The damage I feel is probably a wee bit extreme since I needed to stack on every single holy damage resistance in the entire game for it to be manageable, but once that was done it was fun.

I also get to see the credits so I can see which director to blame for thinking up the brilliant idea that was Radagon, Casino Lord.

repeat for phase 2 its that simple hes infested with the rot the npc even tells you that

you dont even need to get in range of his attacks to kill him
