Best spears?

So probably my favorite build from DS3 was a greatshield spear build, and I was particularly fond of the partizan. haven't found one yet but I've been rocking the short spear for now. Anyone have any experience which spears are good and which ones not so much?

Please keep in mind i'm not very far in the game, maybe SL30? i held off from like day 1 to see if they'd fix the whack optimization but alas. Basically please avoid boss/story spoilers

Vyke's War Spear, one of very few weapons that have Frenzy build up. it also has B Scaling with Dex at +10 and C with Faith and dose native fire damage.
