I've been playing on an i5 3330 and 1050 ti with Nvidia Image Scaling to 77% and High preset, some settings down to medium or off and I get an average of 40 fps outside and 50 inside, very playable. I've also messed a bunch with Nvidia's control panel and followed online guides on windows optimization for games.

One of the weirdest things I've noticed and made a huge impact is that the first setting I believe is Texture Resolution when set to High gives me the best performance.

Thanks Jean that's helpful. Its a bit underspec but I was really wondering if anyone was actually running it with a low end pc to get their experience atm There's a huge difference between it will sort of run and an awful experience.

I'm in the process of building a new rig, but I just couldn't wait any longer and gave it a shot. I'm currently playing on an old system that was fairly decent for its time: Intel Core i7 2600K, SSD, 16 GB RAM, and a Nvida GTX 1060 6GB. I started out playing with my display at 1920 x 1200 (60Hz) and Medium graphics settings in the game. Everything was fine for awhile, but at some point enemies became invisible. I've following a bunch of suggestions on how to fix it (dropped game settings to minimum, disabled display scaling. etc) , but haven't had any luck so far. Let's just say it makes the game a bit more challenging.

Thats really interesting. Yes I'm thinking I need to just completely update the rig. Time, money, etc., but it's good to get feedback - there are reddit posts which say it's fine, but, well... it's reddit.

The original specs were for i5 8gb ram, and 1650 3gb. if you have that you can probably run it. Just mess with settings like eddie said. There are some known issues that may crash the game or if you have settings too high, it will crash your game. You can run it easily on low though if you have the right ram and vram

This game is especially heavy on the CPU because of poorly optimized threading, you can try but I wouldn't expect much. I have an i5 6600k and performance in the open world is quite bad, probably around 30fps but feels much worse due to bad framepacing.

Wait a second. They increased the system requirements?!

That's really great guys thanks. The open world fps you stated has made my decision, I'll hold off for now. I I've been speccing a new gaming PC - but might have to wait a bit.

OK, guys, I will use that thread.

CPU: i5-4690K
GPU: GTX 1650 4GB DDR6
RAM: 16GB

Anyone tried to run the game with similar rig? If so, how was the performance?
