low fps in a rtx 3060
I'm running elder ring on a laptop with the 3060 6g. i7 10750H CPU @ 2.6gh and 16 ram. In the 1080 resolution in low quality the game runs at 45 fps. It can not be, it should go in max to 60 stable. Some help?

Pray that From fixes it. As far as I'm aware there's no magic trick to make the game not ♥♥♥♥ itself.

If you have that hard performance problems theres something not right.
The game dosnt run super well, that said, its not that bad from a performance standpoint in general - its just that it drops without reason no matter which hardware you have. But generally low performance isnt much of an issue from what I've seen.

First thing you shouds do is updating Nvidia Driver, which made my performance go up alot actually. Since its a laptop u need to also check power managment and GPU usage.

If you want more support, you need to provide more information, like how much your hardware gets used and so on.

try win settings > display > graphics > elden ring (add it if its not there) > option set "high performance" maybe it will help

Disabling the anti cheat solved my issues. There are tutorials on Youtube.

Sorry, I cant specifically help you out, but I'm playing on 3060ti +AMD cpu and I've had steady 60FPS at 1080p high settings. The game has crashed once, but my framerates are good. Hopefully with some more patches From Software will fix the issues some are having.

the cpu works at 50%, 11 gb of ram occupied (from 16) and the gpu at 70-90%. It doesn't go above 45 fps. It also does not raise a single fps when lowering the resolution to the minimum. Something must happen to him. The 3060 is capable of shooting this game.

when I lower or raise the graphic quality it increases or decreases the use of the gpu but not that of the frames

I don't know if it's because of the computer or the game because there are videos on youtube with the same graphics running at 60 stable

I have lowered the resolution to 720 and it does not go above 50 fps either... something must happen

I'm having this exact issue, running it on Ryzen 5 series, 6700XT, none of my hardware being pushed to capacity but low framerates sometimes.

Go to Geforce experience then look for the cog sign next to your name. In general check whisper mode is off, i did and it boosted my fps a lot

What's from going to do they didn't make the graphics card from hell 30s and 40s have been nothing but problems game after game all I see are 30s and 40s having issues yet nothing from the older graphics

Elden Ring is heavily CPU bound according DF. They found even i9-10900k would bottleneck RTX 3090 at 1280x720 resolution. Lower graphics settings won't solve the low FPS. Then there are the shader compilation stutters and they are a dealbreaker to me.

If you look at the history of performance patches on PC from FromSoftware then you shouldn't get your hopes up.

I would get the game on console instead - if possible.

I have bought Elden Ring on XSX and PS5. The FPS on PS5 and XSX can't get a locked 60 FPS, but removing the shader stutters is worth it. XSX is the best version after all the patches I think, XSX was not great at launch. PS5 might hold higher average FPS but the VRR range of the PS5 is only 48-120 Hz while XSX is 20-120 hz, The game will often drop below 48 FPS and the PS5 will stutter and tear a lot.

Elden Ring also has impressive HDR in my opinion. My TV can reach 2000 nits and I swear the frenzied flame almost took my eyes several times.
