Bug: Gowry, Millicent, and the Talisman

I finished Millicent's questline and gave the thing to the flower and got the other thing, and gowry refuses to give me the talisman. this needs to be patched, the wiki says it's bugged and you can only get the talisman if you talk to gowry before giving the thing to the flower even though there's no obvious reason to do so. also the wiki says that if you do this that you can kill gowry and get the talisman as a drop, but this too can sometimes get bugged and he turns into a bug and doesn't drop anything. the only way to fix this is to NG+ and do it again... this is stupid and should be fixed
