Is there any good faith spells?
All faith spells seems to suck ass. Lightning spear seems to be the longest reaching faith spell and doesnt even reach about 10 meters.
Is there anything viable to use in faith build or should i just reroll to int build because all its spells seem to have much longer reach and overall int spells seem a lot better.

To be honest, no faith spell seemed as strong as weapons art (sword of night and flame for example). Apart from the rotten breath against a couple bosses, which it made easy.

Having tried most of the offense Incantations, I can safely say most of them suck.
The only really "good" one is Rotten Breath, which eats up a ton of FP but is one of the few ways to inflict rot.
Says quite a lot when my Faith character ended up relying on spamming strong weapon skills instead.

Dragon Bolt blessing is amazing if you want to play the game without using a shield. It raises your deflection rating by a lot so that you can make foes bounce off you even when you're just two hand blocking or sometimes not blocking at all. It also raises all your status bars by a bit and the only drawback is decreased lightning defense. All in all I'd call it a pretty strong buff.

I tried speccing into faith build with some legendary spells and a level 21 seal with A faith scaling. Had over 50 faith. It was very bad, the damage wasn't good and the cast animations were rough, either you get interrupted or you just miss wasting a massive amount of resources in the process.

I've seen people make faith damage work with really specialized builds that max our a seal that boosts a specific type of incantation and then they only use those incants for damage. But that takes a loooooot of time and effort compared to just putting points int STR and using a massive axe or something.

Faith can be used competently as a secondary skill tree. Particularly if you are going for the "holy knight" style game play. Lots of good weapon buffs, holy damage on weapons is really good. You also get fat heals and pretty badass body buffs that really reduce specific damage types.

But yeah I don't think it's great on it's own compared to magic. But I think being a blood knight (arc) or holy knight (faith) are actual viable build paths.

I'm running with curved greatsword / lightning and fire offensive spells and so far, Firesling and Lightning Bolt perform pretty well.

They make my approaches really flexible: sometimes I can just outmaneuver bosses and toast them mid-range, and sometimes I can just whack them.

I think a lot of their reach and effectiveness comes from the enemy closing the gap, so the spell will hit, but you have still time to backpedal afterwards, so you can start the cast, throw your ♥♥♥♥ and then backpedal, still hitting them since they're busy telegraphing / sprinting towards you (particularly easy to test with every Erd Tree Spirit Guardian thing).

I'm not sure I'd be this happy with a pure faith build, though, so mileage may vary, of course.
