The only really "good" one is Rotten Breath, which eats up a ton of FP but is one of the few ways to inflict rot.
Says quite a lot when my Faith character ended up relying on spamming strong weapon skills instead.
I've seen people make faith damage work with really specialized builds that max our a seal that boosts a specific type of incantation and then they only use those incants for damage. But that takes a loooooot of time and effort compared to just putting points int STR and using a massive axe or something.
Faith can be used competently as a secondary skill tree. Particularly if you are going for the "holy knight" style game play. Lots of good weapon buffs, holy damage on weapons is really good. You also get fat heals and pretty badass body buffs that really reduce specific damage types.
But yeah I don't think it's great on it's own compared to magic. But I think being a blood knight (arc) or holy knight (faith) are actual viable build paths.
They make my approaches really flexible: sometimes I can just outmaneuver bosses and toast them mid-range, and sometimes I can just whack them.
I think a lot of their reach and effectiveness comes from the enemy closing the gap, so the spell will hit, but you have still time to backpedal afterwards, so you can start the cast, throw your ♥♥♥♥ and then backpedal, still hitting them since they're busy telegraphing / sprinting towards you (particularly easy to test with every Erd Tree Spirit Guardian thing).
I'm not sure I'd be this happy with a pure faith build, though, so mileage may vary, of course.
