Beat the end bosses first then go to the optional areas imo.
I find nothing fun about trying to learn bosses that are hidden behind other bosses that you have to kill over and over again just to get to. This and the Radahn fight were obviously designed when they were all drunk on a saturday night.
Elden Beast is like 75% resistant to Holy, Magic and Bleed iirc. Maybe why you are having a bad time. But keep at it! You are 1 boss away from the end
May I suggest Hoarfrost Stomp?? Spam it and delete that jerk!
Ah no wonder I couldn't beat him with my bleed + scarlet rot weapon initially. This boss seem to be immune to every status effects.
I have managed to beat it regardless by spamming bloody slash but it was a real close match!
I guess it's time to build a back-up weapon. I want to keep a bunch of weapons with different damage types like slash/pierce/blunt as well.
Yeah have some fun with other weapons/characters
