I agree. I assume since the game has so much they couldn't properly balance all their boss fights in the mini dungeons so some of them are just silly, like this one. The biggest problem I have with it is the arena design and the spear one being overly aggressive, it's a bit too small and has no cover. The Shadows of Yarhnam fight in Bloodborne is how you do a 3v1 boss fight properly.

It sucks, but you can get past it with your mimic summon and using a strike weapon. They're really weak to strike weapons.

I'm not even gonna bother. I'm like in shock at how terrible this design is and I've already played through Dark Souls 1,2, 3 to experience all kinds of awesome and horrendous battles. This is just f***ing stupid

well yeah, I was using a battle hammer actually with B scaling in Strength currently and then switched to a fist wep, the problem is that I don't have a summons that can even stay alive past 20 seconds and I'm about to run out of rot boluses

I've beaten them with those 5 guys summon - one big with club for 69 energy. I've used this morning star weapon at +8 (I'm not sure, but +8 at best), two handing it. Generally I spawn spirits a little to the right, so they go for spear guy, then I rush at magic guy and kill him, afterwards this circle thing guy as gast as possible and then spear, in my winning attempt I had to jump a little to finish circle guy with spearman already killed my summons.

Trick is to use twohanding, every of them will lose poise when you hit them twohanding under half of health bar. So it's a real fight only for half hp, afterwards you just slam them in their face without mercy. But nonetheless one of most stupid, if not the most stupid boss fight in this game. Most difficult boss from all mines
