So the boss and I died at the same time

2nd or 3rd try, thought I had this--Red Wolf of Radagon--and I did, sort of.
After a not very long, drug out fight--he's VERY fast/aggressive--I went in for the kill shot, but so did he, lol.

Good news it registered him as dead and my runes were kindly there when I went back, sans any enemies. Nice, lol.

Anybody have any interesting/hilarious/painful stories of similar simulkills?

Renalla. killed her then got killed immediately after by her pet dragon. was a good laugh, until I found that my runes ended up lost in the void~

I killed the last boss and he killed me so after i respawned i wanted to get my runes but my 500000 runes were locked in his special arena so rip 500000 runes

Only time I had that happen was when I was fighting that knight boss in Caria Manor. I got sniped while trying to down a healing flask and then my wolves finished her off while I was going through the death animation. Fortunately I got the drops and souls and was able to proceed without any issue.

have done this like 4 times in my playthrough including on the final boss; i generally advice to play more aggressive in the end, its usually worth it

Well, guess the "painful" part of the question is answered. Oh man!

This happened to me when I killed Maliketh... he is like red wolf but faster and all his attacks leave you on 5% hp and leave a status debuff that will kill you if you dont instantly drink a potion....

I too went for the kill shot and so did he... lol

When I killed the big wolf monk near the end of the game he put black flame on me and killed me as well. The game went into a cutscene after that and I was just praying that this situation somehow didn't break the game. Fortunately it all worked out.
