Multiplayer Groups and Passwords
What multiplayer/group passwords do you guys use?
I, and many more need people to play with.

Setting a multiplayer password will hard restrict you to only being able to summon players with the same password. However it will also remove all level restrictions, so keep that in mind if you ever want to summon a level 800 bastard to come kick a boss's sandcastle over. As a general rule though getting a rando's multiplayer password won't benefit you at all.

Group passwords are equally useless, they just highlight other group member's bloodstains, and give you an annoying popup when someone in the group kills a boss.

Group passwords adds the possibility of you seeing people's summoning signs/bloodstains/phantoms and so on.

If i'm a low level player I can't play with high level players for example or vice versa unless we have the same multiplayer/group password.

So I rather take the possibility of playing with more players regardless of level.

group passwords don't make you more likely to see these things, they just highlight them with extra glowy bits. Group passwords also don't effect the level range you can summon people in.

multiplayer passwords will restrict both YOU, and the OTHER guy who has a multiplayer password set, so unless you're actively coordinating to meet up in places it's a waste for both of you. :postaldude:

Cool thanks, I've tried 123 and some people seem to be using that.

Whenever someone in the group kills a boss or becomes an elden lord or whatever,
those "annoying popups" actually gives you a buff (Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot)

Like MerVidium said, it when popup appears, you get a buff that gives you more runes, and seem to last twice as long as the consumable.

Whenever you get that message that somebody else killed a boss, shardbearer, or become lord you also get the golden leave rune buff. I wouldn't say it's useless.

I randomly chose 'poopoo' and 'peepee' for my group passwords since I regularly use those for MP servers when I host for friends. Turns out a lot of others use that for group passwords too. I regularly get the buff from others killing stuff, I also get to see a lot of hilarious blood stains.

no passwords, randos only, the way multiplayer was meant to be played
