Blaidd's Quest / Ranni's Quest

Hello everyone, I have 2 problems with Blaidd's quest and unfortunately also with Ranni's quest. First of all, without me doing anything for it, Blaidd is already in the red castle in front of the boss Radhan (where this is celebrated), but he doesn't help me. I was also never able to snap my fingers to speak to him because he was not found at the actual seat. Is there any way I can still get his armor? I got the ghost wolves from Ranni at the beginning, but she can't be found in the tower where you should find her. It is currently to despair and is slowly gnawing at the motivation. does anyone have good advice?

Yes you'll be able to get his armor once you finished the hole ranni questline. And now to the spoiler if you intressted. after you finish rannis questline blaidds become hostile right infront of rannis tower there you can kill him and have to kill him if you want the armor. But that does NOT effect the ending!

2. If Ranni is gone: Have you checked on Seluvis? That's usually an indicator of where you are on her quest.

I have to check if i can find the sign on the battelfield. I thought, the sign for summonig is befor the teleport so maybe that could allready be the answer...

2. Seluvis is the field with the 3 towers right? There i nowhere can find her... i came to this place, had a short fight with a dragon and went to rannis tower where she should be on the top of the tower but nobody is there. The other 2 towers both are closed with tha blue shield. I mean, she should be there if i recieved the bells and ghostwolves from her or am i wrong?

There are two options to trigger ranni Roman4092, 1 is actually the one you began atm. What i did aswell on my first playthrough. You have to KILL rhadan to be able to continue the questline. If you not kill him ranni will not pop up since blaid is already in the arena waiting for the fest to begin.
The second one is different. But in your case unneccssary.

The snapping to get blaidd to come down, which you can no longer do atm, is done in the mist forest place where he is chilling on the top of the tree howling.

Thank you very much for your input. That sounds very understandable to me when I finally meet Blaidd near Ranni's tower and therefore Ranni can't be found either. Yes, that sounds reasonably conclusive, I really hope I can still complete the quest!

No, he isn't there. He's waiting allready in the red castle.

Question (I'm on PS5).

I did the snapping, and completed what I believe is all of Ranni's questline; I brought her the secret of the city, and she left for the Empyrean; I also have the miniature Ranni now.

I also killed the person Blaidd sends you after--but not until I was halfway through Ranni's quest. Blaidd helped me at Radhan, but I can't get him to spawn at Ranni's Rise, no matter what I do (and yes, I also let him out of the evergaol).

Is it because I never finished the "end" of *his* quest, or am I missing something here?

I've also been to the study hall, flipped it over, and been to the top of the associated tower to find Ranni's demigod corpse.

No worries you will able to finish it. When the meteor strikes btw when you finish the fight with rhadan. At the same place where you fought. Blaid will be standing there. You have a small talk with him. And im not sure if you have to visit roundtable first but ranni will be 100% at her tower and the questchain will beginn by the first step with the stuff she want from nokron and since you beat rhadan and opened the ''door'' to nokron the journey begins rest is up to you. :) gl hf!

You have to complete Rannis questline COMPLETLEY! Till you get the darkmoonsword. After that you finish it. When you just port somewhere (in my case i went to roundtable) and to make sure i didnt forgot anything at rannis tower i went back there at the bottom of the stairs blaid was waiting for me as hostile. There you kill him and easy obtain his set.

And as i said i guarantee you that you will be able to still achiev the stars ending if you all aiming for that. Even if you kill him it does NOT matter!

BUT BE CAREFUL! Some people said that selvius giving an elixier to you that you have also to deliver to ranni if you do that ranni will never again talk to you. I can NOT confirm this if its true or not since selvius never asked me for that favour.

At that point i can say you almost done the boss inside the lake is not mandatory btw but i killed him anyways. BTW one important note. At the place where you picked up the doll did you speak with the doll? You have to speak with the doll. Because before you enter the lake of rot there will be one more boss and ranni will pop up a dialog at that point you aint do nothing just continue the way.

Yes you can. If you also finished or about to finish rannis questline you can choose after you beat the end boss which part you want to end.

everyone wants it xD i just wanted Ranni! :3 i kind of like her A LOT! :D
