Seluvis is dead?

im not sure why, but a few days ago i found him dead in his tower and i cant complete ranni's questline after giving the potion to nepheli. apparently iam the only one who has experienced this as i dont see anything relating to this. is there a way around this, is this normal? i definetly didnt kill him (although it was tempting).

Ranni's questline is not tied to Seluvis. Idk if your quest is bugged tho.

I think certain things can trigger advancement of npc quests erroneously. For example, I never touched rodericas quest and explored all the way to altus before doing stormveil. She just showed up in the roundtable and thanked me(for nothing lol) at some point.

That potion has nothing to do with Ranni's Questline. He gets all husk'd out because you beat him in guise of Blaidd before the big ol river of rot.

nah that means that you progressed her quest line, he just dies after she leaves idk why, i still have the potion and i'm pretty sure i have fully finished her quest line

Personally I don't think Seluvis died, I think the body that called itself Seluvis was also a puppet.

I think Seluvis died for me after I beat Miriam (who I assume is his lackey) for the second time in the inverted tower.

But as others have said, his own personal quest with the potion doesn't affect Ranni's quest line.

That makes sense. I’am just stuck right after I beat Altus and I can’t enter the area afterwards and I don’t have the key, which I’m supposed to get from beating the baleful shadow and I don’t think he spawned at all. (I don’t have Alzheimer’s, I’m just mindlessly fighting things and don’t think twice about them).

Nokstella down an elevator to the bottom of waterfalls you will find the baleful shadow.

When you finish Rannis questline, you will find all of your former friends who can actually put up a fight surrounded by dead assassins. Seluvis just got straight up merced, because he's all talk and no skill, I think : D

There's a Theory that he's also just a Puppet and the Real is still alive. I mean how many Bodies of Sellen did we found?

I must have messed up then, because i cannot find the ring of oath and iam well passed the area where iam supposed to have fought the baleful shadow. i gave the potion to gideon but i think i messed up somewhere before that or iam missing something.

He only dies if you kept on continuing Ranni Quest
