Why are female characters so flat?
Don't get me wrong I wasn't expecting some kind of anime proportions but in the previous games you could tell a woman from a man

Now even with light clothes there's no difference between the two, it's almost as if FROM didn't bother modeling variants for most chest pieces
The only sets where a difference is visible are those where a lot of skin is exposed like the hero set (and even then, it's barely visible)

Is it laziness (less modeling to do) or a cowardly attempt to avoid controversy from the anglo countries?

I can't imagine it's cowardly as this is the same company that made the desert pyromancer chest piece for DS2 and DS3. They are not afraid to take advantage of the sexual allure of the female form. Does anyone remember Quelaag??? Those messages in front of her boss door were the best :steamhappy:. Don't even get me started on Gwynevere

Real medival armor didn't make different styles for men or women; women just wore the same armor as men, and you generally couldn't tell a woman from a man if they were kitted out. So...

As I said I am talking about clothes and light armor, not stuff like full plate

Ahem, here we don't have "man" and "woman". It's a modern game, we have "body A" and "body B". Please, be correct. Also, i think accentuated curves on one body type may cause some clipping or some similar ♥♥♥♥.

Touching grass is free and I recommend you go do it.

I still want an obese dwarf. Lionel's armor is a step in the right direction, but I want to play a fat little roly-poly dwarf girl.
