FIX ARCANE STAT PLEEEEEEASE
I'm craving to play with Marais Executioner's Sword and Blood River, imo they are the coolest weapons in the game, but they have no scalings, which is sucks. Is it intended or not, what do you think?

My first guy was pure arcane and that seemed pretty strong.

What's wrong with their scaling?

Didn't test it myself yet but apparently the Arcana scaling on some equipment doesn't work.

Many arcane weapons only have base damage, like weapons infused with raw gem in Dark Souls 3

Weapons like Rivers of Blood and Eleanora's Poleblade have NO scaling whatsoever. If a weapon has Arcane scaling and has 2 damage types it currently does not scale on your stats, rendering them completely worthless. It's also only weapons that are like this by default. Adding Arcane scaling to a weapon yourself with the use of an Ash of war does work.

You can also easily see this by adding bleed to any weapon. At 50 Arcane the Poleblade only has 78 Bleed, while my Antspur Rapier that I applied bleed to has 99.

Funnily enough, due to these weapons ignoring your stats you can use them without getting a damage penatly even if you lack the stat requirements. The damage of a lvl 1 character or a lvl 300+ character is exactly the same.

Thanks for the detailed answer! Anyone tried reporting that to their support? They've been surprisingly helpful and supportive for a big publisher, i.e. they don't simply copy paste the common troubleshooting steps when you report specific bugs, which is already saying a lot. :happyotus:

Arcane also seems to have no real cap in damage you can just pump it to 99 and do crazy damage its the only stat that seems to gain that much increase in damage
