Best rune farm is a cheese? will it be fixed? (VIDEO ADDED)

so if you finish the white mask's quest that you get at the first step you can get to an area that has these sleeping guys, clearly intended to be farmed as they drop 2000 runes each and can easily be taken out by either pushing them off the edge or just brute force, they are stupid.
this is a nice rune farming spot but its about to get better....

in this very spot there is a bird down across a revine below you that if you stand in the right spot and shoot him once with an arrow he charges after you and runs of the cliff. this nets you 10,000 runes per kill every 20 second or so.
Was this purposefully done or will it be fixed?

Honest question; why does it matter?

If it personally bothers you, don't use those farming methods.

And honestly I feel like I'm overlevelled and I haven't had to resort to farming. Just standard exploration and progression.

yeah this is kinda ridiculous if you find it, trust me its cheese of epic proportions.

forgot to mention there is a chance for him to have gold eyes to and that drops almost 100,000 runes lmfao.

I'm not sure where the spot is you are talking about. The spot at Palace Approach Ledge-Road is crazy good. There are many good spots actually. I think the most "broken" one are the giants at the beginning of the game. It's the only time really where you can struggle with runes (Well if you don't go south) and 1k for 1 giant is absurd at this stage. Also very easy to kill at low level.

I don't think any farming is needed then. The bosses give you so much runes. I'm somewhere around level 140 without any farming, just killing the achievement bosses.

Runes/souls never actually had any real value... so kinda irrelevant. Doubt they will do anything about it.

if you haven't heard, there's a thing called cap, which makes pretty irrelevant those extra levels. also, after mid-game you can end up being so high level you dont even have to farm runes. i've lost close 1 million runes (died many times with 50k-100k+ on me) and still ended up the game at about lvl 170 (most of my friends finished the game at around 130). so why bother sitting there farming and doing nothing, when you can play the game organically and still level up pretty fast

because 10k every 20 seconds is insane compared to the rest of the game, why beat bosses any more when i can be at cap within a few hours compared to hitting my head against bosses for multiple hours?

Why would you wonder such a thing if they fix a farming method ? what does this have to do with your experience with the game ? This is not an mmo guys. Noone getting an advantage over you. It's always good to have such spots to make it easier to prepare characters for pvp or just for upgrading different weapons for a variety of choices to try out.
If you think killing bosses is pointless whiel there is such a farm method then clearly you dont understand this game. You can do whatever you want. People kill bosses with torches at some point jsut for fun. Do whatever makes you happy. Noone gonna take your money dont be afraid.

wont get "fixed" as farming methods like this where in all older games in some form. you can also access this area without this quest later on btw.

they might remove some of the sleeping ones or reduce the aount of souls they grant but there is plenty of other methods to farm souls at no effort already anyway.

they got way more important stuff to fix currently. believe me.

the sleeping guys are fine, its the bird which they could move or make drop less runes that makes this spot really nasty.
