Does the Taunter's Tongue even works?

So can you actually really be invaded while being solo, with this item? I keep trying but after several hours still nothing, zero invades. What are your experience?

That is extremelky unlikely. To get a permanent invasdion item, you have to do a questline and/or reach a high level area. So people invading under level around 40 or so, are doing so using a limited consumable that they do not have infinite of. Try wandering around liurnia of the lakes, that seems to be the most comon low level area for invasions (you get like 10-15 of the invasion item there)

We don't know the exact formula elden ring uses, but previous from games was 10% lower and 10% higher. So if you were lvel 20, you could be invaded by level 18-22 players. Anyway, if you're sure it's not the things I've liste,d I've notied elden rings servers are kinda being poopy right now, me and my bud having a lot of connection issues while co oping using a password, and we constantly have invaders DC, or I DC as a phantom. I believe the servers are buckling under just how excessively popular the game got, and it's entirely possible that people are failing to invade.

I think I've found the reason. It seems there are players who try to invade me, because when using the Tongue, I sometimes can't leave the game ( button is greyed ) and I'm getting dismounted, but then nothing happens, so I assume they all just disconnect when tried to join my world.
