I am impressed you got this far with no aim lock !
Although i have to say the fight felt pretty BS, the first phase is literally a joke and then on the second one literally any attack one shots you even while using super heavy armor and having over 1k+ hp, after defeating him i didn't even feel good because of how many times i died while the mf was at 1 or 2 hits away from dying but i would just get one shot from one BS homing attack or massive AoE that was pretty much unavoidable. although the fact that i died on my second try when he was literally at less than 100 hp and then one npc auto attacked him once and he died right after i died probably contributed to me not feeling any satisfaction when i killed him like 15 tries after that.
Also a tip for anyone struggling with the boss fight before him, you don't need to do it at all. just advance Renni's questline until the point where you need to kill Radahn and then the boss fight before him will just disappear for the festival to take place.
So if you are cheesing him you can skip that fight and go straight to him that way.
