in previous games to dual wield and attack with both weapons at the same time, you had to use a button combination to get into the power stance, and there were additional stat requirements beyond base weapon stats
in elden ring its as simple as putting same weapon category in your other hand and hitting L1
In fact I would not be surprised of power stance attacks deal less stagger just compared to R1 with a weapon just to rub it in.
When it works, it is very satisfying. But lots of PvE things can just pose their way out of a blender. I would not be surprised if 90% of "power stance OP" is just holdover from "Because I hate bleed and that let someone use two bleed weapons at once"
Then quickly realized I suck and need my shield.
you just equip two weapons nothing special about that
It's what it was called in Ds2 which is where it came from.
