Dragon Halberd vs Nightrider Glaive
Personal opinions on which one is the better Halberd to use through the game? I just got the Dragon one... but my Nightrider is already at +5. I am wondering if its better to stick with Nightrider Glaive or go through the trouble of getting enough shards to upgrade the Dragon Halberd?

from looking at the wiki and if you are a strength build then
Nightrider Glaive might be you're choice

What are your stats?
Those ratings of A-E for strength/dex/faith etc.... make all the difference along with ashes of war can change those too...with keen,heavy,etc...

if you have a strength build you want a weapon with c or higher in strength. If you find a weapon with 3 stats like the Golden Halberd from the tree sentinel (guy on horse you fight and get stomped when you begin lol) it has faith, strength and dex scaling. I do like 450 plus damage and up per hit.

So I'm a strength build for sure. So I'm guessing simply because of the better scaling that the Glaive is better. Even though the Dragon Halberd has a better starting damage stat?

scaling is important and I'm pretty sure that the Dragon Halberd can't have Ashes added, so no infusions and you're stuck with the base weapon art

You can get the bell bearing from the mines and buy the upgrade stones
