Rune Arc farming?

I'm struggling mightily to hold onto Rune Arcs because the Caelid region just keeps stealing all of them with nonsense one-shots. I need to start farming them up.

I've tried my hand at co-op, but it seems increasingly hit or miss on whether I get an answer at all, and from someone with a stable connection and who doesn't immediately fling themselves into a one-shot from the boss we need to kill despite having two phantoms to eat a few blows for them.

I'm interested in hearing any ideas on how to get rune arcs more efficiently, that does not boil down to "invade people" as I REALLY don't want to have to do that. Also i'm not lategame.

Use that co-op totem in an area you've unlocked a lot of summoning pools for and help people kill bosses. Alternatively, find a dungeon or something with a pretty easy boss and drop your sign in front of the door--slower to get summoned but more reliable.

Most people die to the boss when I try to help them, I found out its much easier to just invade and kill them !

That said, I have tried the Small Effigy yes, it's how I got most of what I have. It's very hit or miss on how long it takes to get an answer.

Rats drop em too, rampart behind gaols shrine, runnin gank 4 of em, low drop rate but only other way other than rando over world locations just at, noticed further into game seem be more common especially near tougher areas like certain cave with certain knight has one at the end if look outside

I mean, you asked "How do I get rune arcs, but without using all the methods that give you rune arcs." These are the ways to farm rune arcs. There's two other ways to get them. The occasional looted one you can find in the world once, or the like 1/30 drop rate from rats. But if you reduce yourself to farming rats, you're probably better off just going in with no rune active and grinding out practice so you don't need the etxra stats.

This. Rats drop them, so put on your silver scarab and get to work. Otherwise, just be better.

Can boost it with silver chicken feets and arcane stat(effects discovery) but ya, get like 2/hr with rats tops

I find that all the practice in the world only makes me good on one specific enemy, so that ends up being no boon to me at all because i'm gonna get tripped up by the next enemy type. I wasn't pointing that last statement at you DragynDance, it was at the others.

I have gotten a grand total of one rune arc from a rat and never been able to replicate it again since.

"Just be better" I'm already getting dangerously close to my maximum skill ceiling. I'm going to keep dying repeatedly from here up until the end of the game, sorry.

progress til late game and put you summons next to the boss fog, ppl will summon you fast

Then carry people through bosses, literally only other way if don’t want to invade, no magic sweet spot in game for them
