If you're playing solo and online, you won't get invaded by players unless you use the Taunter's Tongue.
So due to a technical limitation I'm having the most absolute fun with a souls game that
I've ever had?
Use that to be invaded while playing solo.
Yes, you are only having casual mode on due to an engine bug, not dev intention.
It's a bad change because people that liked invasions and don't need to be carried are left out of the big chunk of the game while solo players that dislike invasions always could play offline.
Yup, like the change as well.
I get to engage with the souls community messages and shenanigans without having to worry about being invaded unless I choose to do so. I think the series is better for it, honestly.
If you summon, you deserve to get invaded because it would trivialize the challenge.
Honestly glad to see the humanity mechanic removed.
Definitely feel this game is the best in the series for these changes alone.
3v1 can get a little annoying but it's not impossible.
Dark Souls 2 was the only one that truly forced the gank...if you were online at all you could be invaded, even if you beat the area boss. It was the best PvP in the game imo but very brutal
