"Just git gud bro"
Also word of advice, farm rune arcs in coop. Much better of an experience to do so.
you mean casual carebears that cant be bothered to get good enough to face 2 or 3 far less experienced players??? invading is supposed to be hard. fighting ganks is fun.
there are very serious balance issues in ER that make invasions overly difficult and overly absurd, but not being able to invade random noob solo hosts is NOT one of them.
People are already camping low level areas such as the academy with full end game gear
All FromSoft did with these designs is encourage even more twinks
yeah no, argument doesn't fly. i can spin that around and say you mean carebears who can't git gud and just deal with the invader that is in your world now?
now you guys think you have the biggest balls in the world since you always have a friend with you. i see how that works.
No, carebears who geared up specifically to fight pve and suddenly have to deal with a completely optimal player killer build using stuff they won't have access to before another 50 hours
As much as i loath the anti invaders crowd, people like you are part of the reason why it ended up the way it did
there are also plenty of gankers and co-op groups doing the same. it is not specific to invaders.
its an open world game where you can get tons of great gear by just riding your horse around an exploring. its time to rethink what makes a "twink".
the game gives hosts the ability to password summon overleveled phantoms with end game gear, and the game also gives invaders the ability to go thru the game at low level and get end game gear. its just a part of the game.
when the game first came out and people struggled with margit, the common advice was - go explore, level up and get better gear and then come back when your character is stronger. the exact same thing applies for invasions and co-op. if you find you are constantly getting clapped by invaders with better gear, jump on your horse and go load up on healing upgrades and better weapons. its an open world game without linear progression, and any player can go all over the map and get all kinds of gear from all different stages in the games main story.
Hell, my first 1-2 hours of gameplay on the 4th day of release were spent helping people with my base prisoner fight the golden knight at the start. Think in that short span of time, I got pulled by someone who summoned me, summoned another and kept summoning duels just to gank them.
Legit watched in awe for a few of these before I fingered out. It even sucks more now since you can't see who you met and block them, so in theory they can just keep summoning you fishing for ganks :/
Yes
No
You have to go out of your way to max out your flask, grab 100+ poise gear, specific talismans and 4 pouches, and some extra weapons you can absolutely not get just by strolling around the open world
All this by deliberately staying around level 50 and +4/+8 upgrades so you can keep invading Limgrave and Liurnia
For the coop summons it's even worse because they don't even have to put in the effort to twink, they're just twinks the instant they're summoned, the scaling barely has any impact
I absolutely strolled around in the open world in the beginning and got extra flasks that way, an amazing summon early that I couldn't even use at the time, and lots of runes for level boost. Just because you played the game linear or weren't able to do something does not mean that applies to everyone else.
It's certainly no Skyrim when it comes to open world but you absolutely can explore from the very beginning and stray off the linear path.
New Game+ i must say it loses grip too, i´m just 146 and i one shot every boss with weapon arts.. It´s fun for a few seconds but then.. it´s boring.
I will only do if i´m hyped up again challenge runs, like playing with a lvl 1, getting better at parrys. Or no deaths, or just simply finish the game without glitches or this stuff in a few hours.
Also a lot of discussion of topic about the difficulties made it kinda unenjoyable..
People abusing this for views, like making it a boomer/zoomer discussion. (Grow Up Internet)
For example Mage is baby mode (Yes in my personal opinion it is.) but let ppl play how they like. Some ppl want it challenging others don´t.
But they should not lower the difficulty in general this Game is already the easiest Souls game. (I literaly finished the Game in my first playthrough blind without using these little Helper thingies.. actually not intentional i had no idea you can level them up.. until i was nearly done an thought they were absolut garbage and FP waste. xD Greatsword abuser btw) Only Malenia was specially Hard for the first time... This woman shuts you down.^^
But even the discussion about the lowering of Game difficulties is so wrong these Games were always like this. Thats why i play and bought them. Miyazaki also said in an Interview at release they won´t change difficulties even in future projects and People still discuss it, if you don´t like it in the first place, why did you bought it then? That´s the Game. You just jumped on some hype train or did it for views like most Influencer ? Instead of checking out the previous games.
Btw kinda dislike these glitch runs too... Never liked these speedruns anyway..
and for the Guy who wrote about the Armour, i know it. Yea there is a exiled Version of it too. Which you can farm in Farum Azula or Dragon communion church. Like I said they look good and are beautiful and all.. but they never really got me like the Ds3, BB Armour and Men you can tell whatever you want, Cainhurst was definitly the best looking Armour. :P :D I hope for a return in some way in a DLC just as a wish like Wolf Knight Armour nothing i demand or something. :D Just a cool thing to see some Old Armours finding there way in Elden ring or getting new looks. :)
