Bellum Highway and the Madness Tower

I don't know if anyone else has suggested this, or is having issues with this, but i figured something out and i thought i'd share it.
If you go around the side of the tower there is a crumbling wall you can jump up in the corner there is a safe spot where you can catch your breath and let the madness go down, from there you can jump on your horse, and creep over to the opening facing directly across and see a ladder, you can double jump with the horse to by pass having to climb up from the bottom, saves a few minutes clearing the rats and climbing up from the bottom.

Clearing the top part before the madness kicks in is the real challenge though, at least for me.

Is there a way to make that flaming madness ball go away forever?

Killing everyone on top is how you make it go away. They're the ones making it exist. I didn't have an issue with this at all because I just used line of sight to avoid the effects.

The madness went away permanently for me when I killed all the people inside the tower.
