Can't login to Elden Ring server

Had this issue since launch. Have tried reinstalling, changing DNS settings, Firewall rules, hosts file, everything, but no luck yet.

I'm getting a black screen. But the mouse is in the style of Elden RIng.

mine does that at the start of turning the game on sometimes it takes a few minutes to load to main log in screen.

Go to Steam in the top left corner of your screen. Click Check for Steam Client Update. Restart steam. Restart Elden RIng. It lagged for a minute but it worked for me.

so mine was fixed and idk how this is possible but i thought i had internet connection this whole time all week bc ive been googling watching stuff anime etc well i clicked on the internet icon which looked normal but it said no internet even tho i was still doing stuff that required it, i unplugged my cable and plugged it back in and it went away. Not sure why everything was still working with it saying that.

Just had the same problem, flushdns, ... => Reboot did not fix it :(

But: In Steam -> Right-click Elden Ring -> Prperties -> Local files -> Verify integrity then Update game if necessary => Worked for me

I had to reinstall windows to get this to work, once I did my issues went away

I managed to fix it in the end, just had to go to the store and buy a brand new pc but at least it's working now everything is fixed!!!

I have the same problem but I found a workaround (at least it worked for me, can't say if it will help others)

The problem seems to be a Fullscreen issue. Once I changed to Borderless Windowed, I was able to log in.

I FOUND A SOLUTION

Got to setting, go to reset this PC, then got to Fix Problem using Windows Update, and press reinstall now.

After your windows system is reset, none of your items in your PC should be lost instead.
This is how I fix my own log in problem.

I am pretty sure this will work give it a try XD.

I know this is an old question, but I ran into it today, so apparently it’s still causing issues. I’m not a guru by any means with tech, but I found a very easy way to fix this for me. In the title screen, go to system and then scroll to the network tab and select data usage agreement and make sure to it says agree. This immediately fixed my issue on 09/04/2024. Hopefully this helps.
