Audio issue - sound cutting in and out
This is a problem that gradually became more prevalent until it made the game unplayable for me. Every once in a while, the music and some of the sfx got cut for a few seconds - it started to get more constant and annoying so I decided to check the integrity of game files, which didn't work. Next, I reinstalled the game and now it's the worst it has ever been: the audio gets cut every 10-15 seconds and completely kills the mood.

Anybody had to deal with this as well? If any of you know how to fix this, I'd love to hear from you and you'll have my gratitude.

When i started playing i had no sound until i restarted and then it would cut out for half a second every 10-15 seconds... after checking integrity of game file and such it got worse for me as well, not i basically have no audio most of the time and it cuts in for like 1-4 seconds every 10-15 seconds...
i've tried everything i've found online except for updating my BIOS cause that's kinda risky and i have no problems with audio outside of this game...

so i basically can't play the game... i tried a bit but i was killed by some guy walking up behind me cause i couldn't hear him... i hope someone knows how to fix this, or that they update the game and fix it somehow...

I had the same problem and didn't find a solution, tried everithing, drivers uninstall, game uninstall, but nothing changed. Then i followed the suggestion of downloading LatencyMon and ran it before running the game. It detected an issue with some Microsoft and Nvidia drivers, and suggested to update system uefi. I did it (with fear...). It seems to work but i tested only one time, have to check it again. BTW system uefi had two updates that i missed.

What is your OS and system specs?

Run LatencyMon and see what if any errors it will return.
I had the same problem, the sound cut out about every 10 seconds, for a short time. I found a solution for my problem. Elden Ring automatically changes your Monitor's refresh rate (HZ) to 60. If your Windows Setting is set to anything higher (I was using 120hz on my LG CX TV), this process will cause audio issues. Change your monitor's refresh rate to 60hz in Windows, before you start the game and you should be fine. This might also work similarly on console.
