Elden Ring is a mess, and the fan base just accepts it.
Don't get me wrong, I think Elden Ring is a good game, and I am enjoying the time I've been playing. BUT the amount of bugs, and overall issues are unacceptable for this kind of game. My game has crashed a total of 8 times (yes I've been counting) and it seems like every time I try and fight a boss the game decides to punish me by either crashing mid fight or decides to stutter to the point that I get killed and simply can't do anything about it. Not to mention the terrible online play. Consider yourself lucky if you've been able to play with friends. The amount of times my friends and I get a connection error is almost impressive, and I think the patch made it worse. Not to mention the out of date design of these games have finally run their course for me. With stuff like artificial difficulty such as input lag and your character taking forever to do just about every animation. This game at its core isn't hard, but its the "features" and awful out of date game-play designs, and camera that work against you. I really do like this game, but its not the masterpiece the d riders say it is. Maybe it will be if the bugs are ever fixed. But as of right now this game only works when it wants to.

No crashes on my side, performance issues that i can overlook for now, game design is very much to my liking (don't just spam buttons and look for openings to attack if you don't want to be animation locked in critical moments), no input lag, and since i play offline, no connection errors.

So i accept the game as what it is for me. A very good game with performance issues here and there.

i dont get why it takes half a second after I press space for player to roll.
they shouldve made stuff faster like in sekiro

Thats why i refunded this unfinished product
I can literally reliably hard-crash the game by doing any action that involves an animation while being summoned to another world.

It's an untested mess, you're right there.

Hopefully patches sort it out.

I probably have a better GPU than you do and I get tonnes of crashes.

I actually am temporary banned from crashing during multiplayer play too many times. It makes me a tad bit afraid to do more roaming with my friends, because the crashes happen at least once every time I play. The system shouldn't punish me for crashing....

Never had a bug in 50 hours.

I'm on Linux. It crashes for me randomly, and not often. Usually after at least a couple hours of play. My guess is that something is building up and slowly getting out of whack and then after some unknown period or amount of it, it just locks up the game. Doesn't happen that often though, and they said they're looking into it.

Most of the people don't realise that the performance issues are almost 100% from EAC being on, and being online.

It sounds like your pc can't run it more than a software issue bro. hows you and your friends internet speed? the hosts speed will set how it goes. the game rewards tactical gameplay and deliberate action, don't button mash and you won't experience input lag. promise. It becomes noticeable when I panic too. I agree with the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ camera though. only specifically on really fast large enemies. its disorienting as all hell and makes you roll the wrong way sometimes. I learned to play without it when I'm up close on someone whose going to frenzy.

It always baffles me how people seem to think that their personal issues and opinions are the same of every single other person? My game has never crashed a single time, and everything else was just personal preference, this is a hack and slash, attacks in no way should instantaneously hit your enemy as soon as you touch the button, that defeats so much depth that the combat system has, also i haven't noticed any input lag so i'm not sure where you got that from. Point is just because people enjoy something you don't that doesn't make them a "d rider" you narcissistic prick

Over 50 hours in, had 2 crashes and no other issues. Using a 1070Ti still, runs fine. I'm sorry you have issues, but it seems most ppl don't have any.

I play online and still haven't had the game crash once, i do realize how absolutely horrendous EAC is though as every single game i play that implements it always has issues, i really don't understand why it is still a thing, i think most people would literally prefer hackers over it

great game, but enemies are still often invisible for me and i stuck with 3 talisman slots.
pretty major bugs.
