Bow/ranged weapons only run, suggestions?

So im doing a bow/ranged weapon only run (crossbows great crossbows greatbows ect), im not to conerned about spoilers since i've already gotten into the end game on my main/first character, so far im rocking the standard longbow with the one charm that increases your bow/bolt damage you get near radahns area

I am not sure. I would think the standard on by default, or misbegotten for more of a strength focus. Or composite if you are willing to hunt down the ashes of war to put barrage on it.

If I were doing it, I would probably do:

Composite Bow
Pulley Bow
Pulley Crossbow

alright thanks for the reccomendations, i personally don't think i will use the pulley bow just because you can actually get simular range out of it with other bows for more damage but the composite is definetly something im about to go snatch and upgrade me thinks

As I understand it, both pulley bow and composite bow are best for quality, too. Could be wrong, but I am using the pulley bow on my quality build, and I am liking it. Anyway, good luck.

here what you do op. you can carry a crap to of arrows and just switch them on the fly. on bosses use bleed, thats right stack arcane to proc it faster. also use poison for that tick. with that being said use that talisman that raise your attack when poison and rot is present as well as use that talisman that raises attack when bleed is procced. i believe that gives a total of 40% attack damage if you proc both. also wear that white mask that increases damage when you proc bleed. it stacks with the talisman. if you dont have that, use the mushroom king mask, it raises attack when poison is applied. it also stacks with the talisman. have that spear from the commander that raises attack and defense when you use its ash of war. also use consumables to increase damage. stack blood darts and posion darts if you wanna save bow ammo. kukris are badass to stack bleed as well.

for bows, use the serpent bow to stack poison right away, make sure to buy the serpent arrows to proc it fast. you have to be close by though for that to take effect. use the black bow and rapid fire to stack bleed fast. you can use any other range weapon of your choosing for the rest.

thank you for the suggestion, i was just planning on grabbing the serpent bow and grabbing the arrows for it and i already have the black bow upgraded, thanks for the reccomendation, seems you messed with this stuff for a while, thanks!

listen, at this point i couldn't be asked to argue with you on a steam forum, if saving runes was the primary concern then you would be best off finding the cheapest merchant and buying aton of arrows for dirt cheap then using every other rune you use on other things such as leveling up, if you are upset i asked if you were dense then i formally appologise, I do not want to argue with you anymore at this point since this is a forum, not discord.

Use sorcery, it's pretty powerful and has decent range.

this is a ranged WEAPON run so one of the rules is i cannot use a projectile that isn't like a bow a pot a throwing knife ect, certain weapon arts like the one eye shield is fine since its litterally a canon mounted in a shield and stuff like that, though i thank you for your reccomendation, might do a mage build later.

If you only use ranged spells I would say that they are ranged weapons.

I explained it to someone else but i banned projectile spells since its not a weapon, its weaponised magic yeah but its not a weapon thats physical, basically the weapon has to be physically a thing and be a ranged weapon of some sort, such as a pot, a cannon, a knife, a bow, ect, so basically it has to be an actual armament.
