90 is suicide and 120 cutting it close in a few areas
Wont I be matching with similar leveled/strengthened enemies though? just like in dark souls?
From there you can always level up, but you do not have to replay if you need lower level char then.
I personally stop at 70, it is more than enough for a build except for some very fancy things. Also +25 weapon is unlikely to be an issue since special weapons are still going to around +10 so the matching brackets will be likely the same based on those 10 levels (with 25 levels just being projected onto it)
My honest guess looking at 200 long run for this game, 150 peeps saying comfortable level so far beat game, but then what about new game plus? What if add harder bosses in dlc?
Literally no way to settle on given meta level range yet and personally think 100 is half way home in this game.
pvp wise 150 seems ok, for pve? you tickle bosses while they hit you for half of your HP in one swing.
stupid post
I call BS for this game personally. If you just do main bosses, then sur I can potentially see it happening. However if you're looking to do mostly everything (side quests/bosses), you definitely want to go over 100 + SL.
I just "finished" the capital city at lvl 130+ and Im still getting wrecked on some bosses. Sometimes bosses are literally 2-3 bosses at the same time. Also getting 120-150 isnt that difficult in this game too if you explore stuff.
So yeah, 150 sounds about right imo.
Throw on another +10 average levels if you want non-♥♥♥♥ FP, because you need 20 mind to have an even 100 FP. (Keep this in mind any time people ♥♥♥♥♥ about Oleg summon being OP. if the wiki is right you need 100 FP to use him) due to the odd scaling of +3 at first, holding hostage good +6 FP gains at 21+ mind.
So for example. A trash bag tourism build at level 70 could look like-
35/25 VIG/END (or 40/20)
22/16 STR/DEX
20/15 Mind/faith.
9/7 INT/ARC.
Does that sound overpowered to you? Maybe if you are in denial about how hard even basic enemies who used to tickle you will slam 30+ Vigor wearing armor when they show up in later zones just through videogame logic of "It is a deeper area, that means the same enemy hits harder than Godrick's grapple"
So if "expected final PvE level" claims end up 80 tops or barely over 100, it will be due to people looking for bragging rights or hoping to constrain the PvP meta wanting to humble brag about getting by with 15 Vigor and 10 endurance all game as they only juice up their damage stats.
As an aside, oh my god default FP is miserable even if you are only casting low req utility spells on the side with very occasional weapon art use. "I'll use urgent heal again, that is nice and cheap." *moves 1/20th of your health bar for 1/4th of your FP* "...Well, at least I can cure rot without blowing through consumables."
