There are some areas ahead that are just gorgeous (leyndell city proper, hallig tree and azula) - but all the rest is ... very very unexciting broken hills landscape filler...
The final boss is a joke experience to boot...
playing game is basically waste of time doing samething over and over again
so dont play game anymore just live real life
oh my bad living also doing same thing over and over again and day by day too
so maybe u know .... lol
Echo chamber thread? Bro, I Elden Ring was released when, two months ago, three? I stopped playing it and because of that I stopped looking here. I acutally forgot about this thread, that's why I'm not here. Besides, I got better things to do than read this thread. I just moved on, you should do the same.
Of course every game is repetitive, that's a fact, but Elden Rings problem is it doesn't even try to hide it. You basically do the same thing all the time. There is no distraction or side activities that doesn't require you to do the same thing which is killing optional bosses and clearing dungeons. That's why it was boring to me.
Steam forums will always be full of children, I recommend ignoring them
I didn't realise this was an old thread, but I think you made the right decision if you stopped playing after Limgrave & Stormveil. I loved Sekiro, Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3, and while I don't hate Elden Ring I think it's highly compromised and a pale shadow of what I liked about those other games. It only gets worse after the first area too
I think so too about stopping playing after Castle. I talked with some people on Reddit and they told the same thing you did - game gets worse and super unfair later. I'm glad I stopped playing.
