Accidentally killed a NPC

I accidentally killed Gurranq the beast clergyman. this happened after he aggroed after the 4th deathroot.. i was using mimic tear to fight him and when he collapsed I didnt get the dialogue option because my mimic kept attacking him.. is there any way to revive him or get the rest of his items? Ive tried requesting absolution, it did not work. Please help

i think u can prey in the church of vows(behind the statue) where the giant turtle rest that should revive him

For some merchants, you can give their remains to the Twin Maiden Husks in the Roundtable Hold to unlock that store with the Maidens.

This happened to me, but strangely Gurranq spawned again in my save. Initially, after my mistake, I tried using the grace inside the room, and he was gone. But after reloading the zone (teleport out and in again) he was there. As a last resort, try this or reloading the save (restart the game). I was lucky, and don't understand exactly why he's not gone.

right, but I didnt get his bell bearing, maybe it will spawn once I get the next deathroot or something.

i don't think that works with Gurranq, because he didn't finish the quest line and thus didn't unlock the items.
also Gurranq's rewards are given directly to the player, not through a shop.

Gurranq is a end game boss so yeah maybe u will meet him later as a boss he was meant to die u just didnt finished his questline

Gurranq isn't a merchant, so no ballbearing to give. makes sense given that if there was one it'd kinda trivialise the whole Deathroot gathering thing

Sorry to hear that. The only solution I can think of is restoring an older backup save. But this can get you softbanned by EAC, not sure if it works going offline and progressing more after the save restore.

I'm keeping manual backups, the game only has one save. I will only use them in case my save gets corrupted, juggling saves can get you softbanned.

If you don't have backups, I don't have more ideas. I assume your Cloud save is already synchronized with the local save?

Lol yea this happened to me. Basically I hit the dude in the front and then ran inside and he ended up one shotting Gurranq. Oh well

he didn't do that one shot on my end, but he did knockdown gurranq, only problem is boss murdered me too and now he doesn't talk to me
