heavy for vertical, normal for horizontal.
Thank you!
Sheathing the katana requires holding shift, which also is heavy (shift + lmb), apparently I have to tap shift to get the horizontal one. Damn keyboard controls in this game, gonna take some time getting used to.
i advise rebinding your controls. first thing i did was change jump (F) to space, change dodge (space) to shift, and put weapon art/special attack on F and Mouse5, and bind heavy attack to mouse4. later on i changed the pouch/weapon/incantation/quick use slots to 1,2,3,4 / E+1,2,3,4.
Yea, looked into that at the start of the game, but its not registering my additional mouse keys when I try to rebind to them. sadge
Space jump, shift for sprint while I use mouse 4 to dodge, C to crouch, mouse 5 for heavy attack then an additional mouse button between mouse 4 and 5 for weapon arts (Asus spartha mouse so it's a really easy / comfy place to have it).
F is rebound to use pots then I have 1 to swap left hand, 2 to swap spells, 3 to swap right hand and 4 to swap between potions etc. This then let me map E 1 to heal torrent, E 2 to summon torrent E 3 to use ashes and the slightly awkward E 4 to equip my lantern.
BUSHIDO!
Or... You could rebind the keys as suggested making it 1000x easier.
