NEW FIX - white screen --> crash

So I have tried out MANY fixes and none worked in my case, the following connection of two fixes made it work for me tho. remember, this is for the white screen leading to crash.

There might be many steps but it will be simple to follow and I want to be as clear as possible.

Step 1
Go to "https://github.com/tuffee88/d3d12ProxyEdrDx11_0" and download the files under "Releases" on the right side.

Step 2
Go to "windows/system32" and copy the following files "d3d12.dll" and "d3d12core.dll".

Step 3
Paste the two files you just copied in to Elden Ring's game folder.

Step 4
Rename file "d3d12.dll" (one of those you just pasted) to "d3d12_original.dll".

Step 5
Place the "d3d12.dll" file that you DOWNLOADED in step 1 in to the game folder.

Now this should fix the white screen but EasyAntiCheat will detect wierd bullsh*t files and still crash, so we must bypass EasyAntiCheat....

Step 6
In the the game folder, rename the file "start_protected_game" to something like "test" (it's not important what you name it).

Step 7
Now copy the launcher "eldenring" and paste it in the folder, rename the copy you just made to "start_protected_game" and press enter. The icon will now switch to the EasyAntiCheat icon.

FINAL STEP
Launch the game with the "eldenring" launcher inside the folder, NOT via steam.
If you followed the steps correctly then the game will start bypassing EasyAntiCheat.
This will result in only being able to play in Offline-mode.

My game won't even get as far as a white screen:

I click "Play"
The "Play" button becomes "Cancel"
Beside the game it goes "Launching" "Running"
A pop-up opens for a blink and you miss it moment saying "syncing steam cloud"

And that's all that happens. Button becomes "Play" again and the game doesn't run.

Trying to run any of the executables for me in the folders also do nothing. Including the EAC installer to try and run a repair.

If I ever try this fix, will I still be able to update elden ring if the new patches come out?Would I also be able to edit this out if this gets fixed and go back online?

This is supposed to also make dx11 cards work with Elden Ring, but how do i fulfill Step 2 if i dont even have dx12 ?

I've been trying to do this but I don't have the dld12.core file
only the dld12.dll file.

I've done a similar method which results in having to play offline, however after the recent little patches, re-validating my files and updating steam the game works perfectly fine now with EAC. I highly recommend people try that to see if it's actually fixed because I'm still in shock that it's working.
UPDATE: After an hour of playing it finally crashed. It seems the problem was not fixed.

I'm not sure my friend, I believe that you will still be able to patch the game but this fix might be deleted then? I don't know.
My plan is to play like this and wait for an update which makes this fix unnecessery, by then you might have to reinstall the game? :)

Make sure you understand what you're doing here, what you're downloading, and the consequences of these actions, w/e they may or may not be.

This will force you offline in the game and possibly have EAC detect those files.

Don't go modifying or adding system files unless you know for sure what you're doing and you've backed your computer directories up just to play the game.

i know that dude but this game is just ♥♥♥♥ optimized and truly i don't wish to do this but i purcahsed this game 1-2 days back and haven't been able to play.Thinking of asking for refund as i can't wait any longer and will go any safe cracked game version to play this game.

i7-7700k, gtx 1080, 32GB ddr4 here and I do see the white screen hang but eventually it loads. Curious if there's some common denominator between this issue.

Other sytsem specs i7-10700k , RTX3060 , 16GB DDR4,256 GB NVME and 2tb sata SSD.
I tried running on both system but no help.
