Will it run ?
Well, i want to buy this game, but i'm not sure to be able to make it run at at least 30 fps, my Laptop is 6 years old.... so what do you think ?
I have ;

Nvidia GTX 980m 8gigs
Intel i7 6700HQ 2.6 GHz
32 Gigs of Ram

My screen is 1080p but i don't mind playing in lower resolution than native, and for the Drive, is use an extrenal SSD using some 3.1 port ( i don't really remember my SSD speeds)

I know, i have to buy a new PC... but i don't want to, for the moment

If you overclock your GPU you might be able to run it. Worst case scenario you can always get a refund and buy it again after upgrading your PC.

it will run good
what i would do, is some overclocking on the processor.
because you achieve almost all system requirements.
But i recomend cpu clock to go over 3,2ghz or more.
i got a quadcore i overclocked it, because ER is mostly an CPU game.

Your system is better than mine and mine runs 45-50 fps normal. That said, performance seems to be a roll of the die. There's a chance that it won't run well for you for no reason, but there's a decent chance it will. If it doesn't, you've got 2 hours or 14 days to refund it if they don't patch it.

Well, thanks for the awnsers, my CPU is running between 3.20 GHz and 3.40 GHz while doing nothing, so i believe my PC was overclocked by the manufacturer, i will try it and if it doesn't run smoothly even with some tweeks for Nvidia control panel, i wil wait to have a new PC

I was just a little scared with the recommanded specs, for New World i had the minimum, but was barely able to maintain 30 fps at low, i hope Elden Ring will just run fine

Well, i bought the game today, even if i feel that my PC is obsolete, it's perfectly playable with my GTX 980m

Will run like ♥♥♥♥,but if you really don't mind disgustingly blurry 720p then it would be kinda playable in this resolution. Also curious why did you even buy a laptop with 32gb RAM?

I had two spare 16 Gigs Ram sticks, my PC had initialy only one 8Gigs Ram stick, i can buy a new PC, but for the moment, i'm too lazy to transfer data from a PC to another

Ok that's understandable
My advice is wait until GPU prices go down more before getting a new PC
Also Intel is going to release their GPUs soon so it's better to wait until that time
But anyways if you're fine with game's performance then have a nice game!
