GATEKEEPING AND ACCESSIBILITY

Seeing many individuals that aren't souls enjoyers starting to play this game, I have begun to worry that they might have a say in how future souls games are made, that being said please do your part and make fun of any individual asking for "easy modes"! Gatekeeping is what keeps games from turning into soulless(pun intended) media.

Miyazaki is the gatekeeper Japanese devs don’t really listen to that stuff unless the faceless corporate leaders make them do that to get higher profits

Take it a step further, anyone who doesn't fight every boss at SL1 bare handed and naked without summons or healing is a scrub and shouldn't have a say.

Play it the way it was intended, as judged by my ridiculously arbitrary metrics approved by no one and since I am some random guy who's never dealt with marketing, game design, or game testing in my life clearly my opinion is super valuable and informed.

I dont think Miyazaki would cave on that - difficulty and gameplay is the backbone of the series. Idk why people cry about it either...everyone KNOWS what to expect from a Souls game. Don't like it? Don't play, easy.

Miyazaki already said as much. Not willing to sacrifice the game to water it down. Plenty of other stuff for people to play if they don't like and that's fine
