AMD Graphics Drivers timing out?
I literally cannot play the game for more than 15 min due to graphics driver crashes / timeouts. The game runs fine (~50 fps consistently) during the period before the crashes.

Anyone else having this problem?

If you have the AMD software installed go into performance and tuning options and select "auto undervolt" and see if that helps. It wont cause any damage to your PC. Only thing that might happen is occasionally your display crashes. (And I mean very rarely and when it happens it also doesn't deal any damage to your hardware).

AMD cards have a way higher power draw than is necessary, and for some reason a lot of modern games are causing AMD cards to freak out on their power draw. Sending it through the roof, usually more than you have available.

Good ways to identify if this is the issue is if you're always crashing at exactly the same place with no variation. Usually when an effect is playing. Like the crash will be so consistent you can count it in. You'll also notice that your CPU and GPU usage is not very high but you're still crashing. Same with your temperatures.

Source: I also have an AMD card and experienced this is other games but so far not in this one, I have had my card undervolted since december last year.

Have 6800XT, no issues. Must be something on your end.

Same problem here with both my nVidia computers, the game just completely locks up and loses the screen after 5-10 minutes.... only started happening after the latest update.

Use DDU and remove drivers and then install fresh copies...

They're talking about older cards, pretty sure. 6700 xt here, and i do get occasional crashes, though nothing like the post.

I had similar issues with most AAA games before I upgrade my PSU. If your PSU is underpowered it may be the cause.

The game will close, desktop will do a flash, blank, then windows UI will reappear after a while; sometime the windows UI theme will be stuck in a "simplified" style before return to normal after the driver is reloaded.

I mean, i can play pretty graphic intensive games, like halo infinite, on ultra with no problems. Idk, it's really weird. After this latest patch, im not having as many crashes

7900 XTX here, and the driver timeout is sadly a constant so no, it's not merely old graphic cards who suffer from this.

I was having a few crashes, but that was perhaps because I was overclocking my VRAM to 2150 MHz. Since I reduced my VRAM overclock to 2100 MHz, I haven't experienced any crashes.

6700 XT with driver 23.3.2. I haven't updated to most recent driver because the release notes don't reveal any tweaks relevant to the games I play.
