Change main hand to left side?

Is this possible? I know it's silly but I have found myself constantly charging into the wrong side (mob vs shield). I'll eventually adjust, but it would be great if I could.

you can put a shield in the main slot and a weapon in the secondary slot. it does work.

Yes, just switch them around

You may encounter issues with weapon skills.

It's already a mess. You need to move the bow into the right hand because otherwise simply having it equipped in one of the left hand slots prevents you from having your left hand empty and it stops you using your right hand weapon's skill.

Oh and I can't work out how to two hand a greatsword. My character insists on using one hand.

you can be left handed or right handed or ambidextrous.. oh i mean dual wield too.

I swear the game didn't tell me that at any point though I suppose I might have missed it.

Is that also how to avoid the issue with left hand weapons screwing with right hand weapon skills?

That makes me two handing the left weapon, can I not just swap them, so left becomes right and vice versa in order to dual wield them the other way around

For torches and shields you can put the 'no skill' ash of war on them(get from warmaster shack). You can then use your main wep ash of war while holding torch/shield.
