WHERES ALL THE DEX WEAPONS

im upto after the godrick boss and got the glintstone key and went into the academy, ive done a ton of exploring but found only 2-3 viable weapons for dex and about 20 str weapons.

is there any near where i am that im missing

theres barely any dex main weapon in all the game and as far as I can tell no S or A affinity dex weapons, I only seen Bs with ashes of war

that kinda sucks, apart from the twin blade uchi and bloodhound fang ive heard of maybe 3 other viable ones

I've explored like the entirety of Limgrave and Liurnia and I think I've seen more Dex-oriented weapons than Str ones.

You can make any normal weapon a Dex one with the Keen infusion anyway.

Did you upgrade any to +25? Because literally first katana Uchigatana I looked up has A scalling and data for most weapons is still not available.

lol, you just named the ones I found, didnt want to spoil it. As far as I looked theres no S afinnity late game dex weapon with high req waiting for us, Ive found int, str and fait with high damage and requirements

That's because there's not a ton of info yet. Uchi easily hits A rank at least, Hand of Melania starts at a B, Keen +15 Nagakiba has an A rank. I know those ones just because I or friends have them, but I'm sure there are more that hit A or S.

Hey think about how I feel when playing a Str build I see anything that requires more than 14 Dex.

im legitematly serious, om what 30 hours and found maybe 4 x more str based weapons than dex.

yh im aware of the function of changing them im more leaning towards dex based weapons like in ds3 you had the abyss watchers sword or curved exile sword wich was an amazing dex weapon but handled like a str.

atm im using two uchi duel wield and there great but wanted to see if there is any worthwhile alternatives that are cool.

I'm doing a dex/arcane build for my first character and there's plenty. Keen Hookclaws is one of the best weapons in the game imo. Keen Godskin Peeler also shreds. I haven't invested many smithing stones into the rapier but it probably ends up with A dex scaling if you change it to Keen. There's the Scythe, the Flail as well and a few really solid dex katanas. There's a ton of viable dex weapons as long as you have access to the Keen affinity.

Keen Hookclaws are crazy and melt any boss that doesn't have stone skin. The Dex/Arcane build is very strong imo. You add bloodflame blade to any bleed inherent weapon and just absolutely rip bosses into shreds with constant, fast bleed procs. It honestly feels broken and I think it's gonna get nerfed.

sounds similar to the early game ds3 getting the gravewarden bleed twinblades and literally decimationg everything. might have to try them out.

I just got to NG+ and got my second Bloodhound Fang. Powerstancing those bad boys is pretty fun.

My wife started using the hookclaws, and they're crazy good. I haven't seen an in-depth build on them yet, but my god they absolutely shred things. I'm debating on mathing out a build using them. This guy is right tho, there's plenty of dex weapons to find between limgrave and weeping coast.
