Edit: Also, reconfigure key combinations you find tedious!
In the settings, you can change the prompts to KB+M. Why it doesn't do this by default is beyond me. Anyway, once you do, you will see the back button (by default) is Q.
The only trouble with M+KB is jump attacks, they're really too hard in the heat of the battle, as they require to hit 3 keys and click the mouse all at the same time. If this was rebindable, it would be just perfect.
how the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell is it so difficult for them to make the pissing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ menus work on pc.
disgusting.
I haven't noticed ANY issues with k&m in any souls game tbh, but then again I've been playing games for like 25 years and k&m is just a part of my body I guess lul, and I'm using PS5 controller only for platformers/side scrollers. Always using custom keybinds and in ER for example jump heavy attack for me is side mouse button (I have 6, all used XD jumping with side mouse button is quite fun) + middle click. So I don't know why you say "If this was rebindable" because they actually are rebindable.
I guess some things truly are beyond understanding.
