took me some attempts to finish him but he is not overtuned the game is supposed to be hard so git gud

For melee, his horse is vunerable to bleed. apply bleed juice and get in there. time your rolls careful or block

Think the hardest part about radahn is getting to him up close and personal

I beat him on my third try and didn't use Scarlet Rot nor Bleed.

Sounds like you just need to gitgud.

I absolutely loved the Radahn fight. I didn't use bleed or magic, but I was going a high-strength build with a good shield and a medium roll. FYI, he's optional, so he's not halting progress. Just skip him if you don't want to fight him.

It sucks that you hated him, but there's a wide variety of boss types out there.

Can't beat him, and at some point, the npcs signs stopped appearing on the battle ground, or way too far from me to see them ...

and she is a tail lategame hidden boss that is optional. means you cannot overgear her upgrade wise. unlike radahn which you just destroy with max upgrades.

only casuls summon for radahn btw. he is beatable with any summon. same for any boss. i never used spirits so far. not even once. and the bosses are still beatable. and i am nowhere near an expert player myself.

The problem with Radahn is that if you use the summons, it adds a lot of randomness to a melee fight, And doesn't actually make the fight that much easier. Because of this if you get lucky with who he targets and the attacks he uses you can beat him relatively easily without really learning all his attacks (I got him to 15% 3rd try and then took about 15 tries just to get back to the second phase)... but equally you can just get unlucky and get one shot, and the latter happens more than the former.

What got me over the hump and made him a lot more consistent is using a high stagger weapon. (moonveil Kantana overhead special) if you can stagger him in 2 -3 hits you get 8 seconds or so to do solid damage to him where he isn't flying around doing random damage or hurting your summons. I also gained a couple levels to get my health up.
