I can't beat her second phase, when you attack her she has this unfair move that triggers on attack and she just 1 shots you. Its super cheap as 2 handed slow weapons are stuck in attack animation and you can't get out of the animation with a roll and you just die.

If it wasn't for the animation and insta death she would be the easiest boss : ( but I don't really want to change weapons, no fun in that.

She takes big damage from bleeds, you got an incantation for your weapon. She melts when you inflict blood loss.

Try to save your summon for the second phase.

Use one that constantly attacks or even staggers her. Upgraded wolves work well, those with a great sword work extremely well because they will make her fall down from time to time.

If you constantly attack her along with your summons you can interrupt most of her casting, except for the moon and for the summons. I just ignored her creatures and kept focusing on her.

did her like an hour ago. went in with only 4 flasks left, 1st try :D
( fire lordswarn greatsword +15 at the time )

phase 1 hit the singing waifus, and those casting the purple stuff. 3 singers hit = she drops down n rdy for a beating.
you rly shouldnt take any dmg in this phase, there only are the flamethrowers n the flying books.
phase 2 ignore the summons n chase her. dont use lock on, its way to confusiong with these spirits around. when she flys up to summon the moon get your distance.


use your weapon 2 handed for teh stagger build up.

use bleed or non magic elemental on the weapon

use spelldrake talisman,
the +1 version can be found in sellia town of sorcery which is part of that bloody swamp east of limgrave.

didnt think u could upgrade spirits before beating her

I did it with wolves' assistance (had them at +5) and the curved greatsowrd from the gaol knight (the innate skill wrecks her good).
The wolves will also clean up the room with the kids real good and will most likely survive with close to 100% hp.

Eating an anti magic liver also keeps you from getting one shot, but if you get staggered and then moon-beamed, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

A thing what could work wonders here is Thop's barrier, since the description says it deflects sorcery straight up.
You can get that after finishing Thop's questline.

I got to eat the liver, its the one shot getting me, the second i strike you goes into her machine gun and pelts me before my animation is done, no time to dodge.

Wait for her to cast, roll, and THEN attack while she is mid animation. The bosses respond to you in this game and the only way to get in safe melee hits is to let them attack first.

You can upgrade spirits as soon as you do the little interaction thing between Roderika and the smith guy at Roundtable Hold. This can be done before you even beat Margit.

This is pretty solid advice. I just fought her earlier and had a fairly easy time. It could be you've got low health or magic defense. I went in with samurai armor and had 24 vigor. Don't recall if I had the +1 spelldrake talisman equipped at the time, but probably, since everything there was shooting magic at me. The only thing I would change would be the lock-on. What I did in phase 2 was lock on to the boss and sprint in circles around her to avoid her spells while waiting for a chance to move in to get a few attacks in. The main issue was learning to watch out for the big attacks, learn their tells, and GTFO ASAP when she starts prepping them.
