Spirit Summons not working it was before

it is now not working at all

yes i have the bell
yes i Summoned them many times before
yes i have enough FP
yes i tried un equipping them and re equipping them restarting game
yes im in an area where i can Summon
yes i tried offline and online

but now no matter what i do its no longer working what is this BS >:(

I've seen the same problem. Some can be summoned, some can't in the same area.

ok so it may be mostly a distance problem but i still was trying to summon at this boss when i should be able to i think what sometimes happens is that glowing icon that looks like door with writing fails to trigger sometimes :/

Depends on where you are.

First the summon icon must be shown, a whitish gate icon on your lower left screen.

Second the terrain and location must be suitable, e.g Jellyfish only on a beach. Not at a bonfire/grace.

and the bubble around grace on the right is smaller then the bubble around grace on the left

sometimes online can get stuck "on" and break spirit summoning i've found, usually i trigger it by trying to activate two forms of online at once (such as making it so i can summon people while also sending my sign to pools). Reloading via fast traveling will fix it but it may be whats happening

and by stuck i mean that even if i use the menu to turn them all off they say its off but summons stay unable to summon

i can still summon jelly fish the same way anywhere else i can summon the 3 wolves or others the bubble around grace is so bad that 70% of the open world cant summon because of this massive bubbles around grace its really that bad

ya i was trying to do this with Leonine Misbegotten and half the time it would not work

bubbles around grace even worse in castles and smaller areas
this is pathetic
