Edgar/Irina Questline broken

Edgar doesn't spawn / invade at the revengers shack after his revenge declaration at Irinas corpse. Bodies are in the shack and he's not appearing anywhere else, haven't triggered the invasion so it's not like I missed him.

I've tried the following.

- Revisiting his spawn locations, Irinas body, the castle, outside the boss room.
- Passing time
- Running to the shack from another grace
- Resting at the grace

So i'm locked out of the Hyetta questline as a result since I can't get the grape from him.

Hoping they patch this, sucks.

Have just arrived to the shack.
Same pattern as the original poster.
Definitely spoke with him at Irina's corpse and have all the bodies with items spawned in the shack.
I did not travel away, rested multiple times at grace and passed time.
Never spawned the enemy.

Im in the same situation. Did all of the same double checks to make sure I hadnt missed a dialogue.

Edgar simply will not invade.

Ive tried running in at night, turning it to night at the site of grace, just running around the location at night.

Heck at one point out of desperation I started eating some of the looted meat dumplings in the shack.

Has anyone had any luck getting this quest kicked back onto the tracks? Spent more time this morning trying different combinations of attempting to activate the invasion.

Nope, a lot of people think they won't invade if you killed a field boss where they are supposed to invade, so the only way forward is to do the quests at NG+ ASAP while skipping side bosses.

He invaded me. Totally forgot that was the Edgar from Morne Castle. Looted the bodies and just went on thinking it was a random invasion NPC. Don't recall fighting any field bosses

Nope same issue, the final boss of that area is still alive but he wont invade, same problem as OP

Sad to report todays patch did not fix this bug and the quest line is still broken. =(

Unrelated but i've been wondering why he invades the player, when he said he was looking for revenge. I didn't kill her. >.>
Does he blame the player for some reason?

I think he just went mad with revenge and that is the result.

If you kill him to avoid this bug when he's sobbing over Irina, he drops a line about blaming you for her death, so likely just mad with revenge.

Another Major bug fix patch (that actually fixed the nepheli quest line for me woo!!!) but sadly no fix for this questline as of yet. =/

I had a post detailing how to workaround this issue but they removed the post, you can still read it tho if you google search "PSA: Workaround to broken Hyetta Quest" and click the three little vertical dots next to the link then click the "cached" button
