This game is A rated trash- Seluvis Questline

For Seluvis Questline, has anyone figured out how to get it un-glitched? I talked to Nepheli's dad. I have talked to Nepheli at the round table, she told me she didnt need the potion. I talked to her. She left to a different lcoation. Talked to her at knew location to no avail. Her fathers New dialouge that is suppsoed to pop up jsut isnt.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have not find a consensus on this yet

There are documented instances of other people not being able to progress. So if a DS fanboy comes on here and start fanboi flamming, ill lose my mind.

He talks a lot more the more Great Runes bosses you beat up. In fact his questline is dependant on it, and I imagine hers as well...because she shares a last name with somebody important.

I know what you are referring too. This isn't his quest line, its Seluvis's quest. And he is suppose to offer a dialouge to progress the quest after talking to Nepheli.
Some people claim they jsut have to fast travel over 100 times between him and Nepheli to somehow fix the bug and get him to actually offer the damn dialouge option. But that just really doesn't sound appealing to me

Yo! DS fanboy here. Ran into many troubles doing quests in Dark Souls and in 100% of cases before, it was some hidden iteraction like "if you did this, you can no longer do that", or "unless you do this, you cannot do that", or even, if you did this, unless you do that, you cannot do this thing". So chances are high it's not bugged but you are just missing something out.


Could be a bug tho, but usually quests aren't bugged, from my experience of all games.

The chance of missing something is the first thing that should come to any reasonable persons mind. Hence the hour i spent researching the quest thereafter, learning the exact steps that must be taken to progress the quest, and finding out that other people have experienced the very same issue. This game has already proven it is not averse to this kind of issue.
The most common "fix" that I see right now is people just fast traveling between the two and indefinite number of times talking to them before it finally triggers the dialoge option to continue. ive been doing that whilst waiting for an actual fix. its miserable out here.

did you beat the omenkiller or w/e his name is in the village?

I dont know if theres any other interaction but
-Talked to Nepheli before godrick
-Summoned her for godrick fight
-Got back to roundtable to find her there, talk to her and she gives me a talisman
-Met her in the Village of Abinaurics, beat the omenkiller boss with her help/summon
-Met her again back in roundtable, she's in a different spot, she's at the site where you open the white fog doors with stone keys
-Finished her dialogue here and she talks about disappointing her father (Gideon)
Much later
-Met Seluvis in three sisters/Carian Manor
-Got the potion from him
-Talked to Gideon Ofnir, so from here it branches out, I could either give the potion to Gideon and then he throws it out or i can give it to Nepheli.
-Since it branched out i asked a friend who was in the same exact progress, he gave Nepheli the potion, nepheli is gone from the Roundtable hold and shows up at Seluvis's Puppet Dungeon, after that if you talk to Seluvis he offers you a free Ash from 3 choices, you can buy the rest later, although from other sources i heard you dont need nepheli to be captured and spirited to the puppet sex dungeon to get access to his spirit ash shop.
-2nd option is to give it to gideon ofnir and he throws the thing away, you can still do all the above since you can lie to seluvis about the potion and he believes you anyway, you can still get the free spirit ash even this way. You then can give an item from the tutorial area, Stormhawk King ashes to Nepheli and she seems happy about it but after that i dont know what happens cause she's still in the roundtable hold with the same dialogue.
Much Much Later
-I do Rannis Questline, i finish the whole thing and come back to three sisters, go to seluvis rise and find him dead, you can loot his armor + his ashes and you can still exchange the ashes at the cost of starlight shards (?), i forgot what those are called.

Also forgive me for the horrid formatting, im to lazy to format it, But i assume there is something in-between that happens before Seluvises death but no one knows right now.
